Tusk Engine Guards

replaced engine guards that had smaller tubing that were bent do to fall. Tusk bars seem much stronger and mount locations are better than cheaper guards. did drill through on main frame which took a little while but worth the effort. overall installation was quite easy. great value

Great bars

The install on these was quite easy and the video was helpful. They've taken a few good tumbles and have handled them well.

It took a bit of time and finagling to get things to line-up, and if I remember correctly, I had to tank off tank, plastic etc. If you buy and mount, then is a good time to do any other mounting, wiring etc. I had a trailer knock my motorcycle over and the these guards kept any thing from happening to the engine, plastic etc., only the anti-vibration device on the end of the handle bar took a hit and the guards took a scuff and slight bend. The guards did their job and probably paid for themselves right then and there.

Happy with Tusk crash bars on KLR650

They were easy to install and fit great. They should provide adequate protection in case of a tip over/crash. I really like the 2 points of contact on the front frame. Bought these for my 2018 KLR650
