The FXR Ascend Softshell Pants combine lightweight weather protection, flexible mobility, and low-bulk warmth for active cold-weather conditions. Built from 285gsm woven polyester / spandex softshell fabric, they feature a HydrX™ 8K waterproof / 5K breathable laminate with a PFAS-free DWR finish to help resist wind, snow, and moisture while maintaining comfort during active use. A bonded fleece interior adds warmth without heavy insulation, while a performance fit with pre-curved knees supports natural movement. Tough nylon oxford reinforcement panels at the lower front legs and back hem improve wear resistance in high-contact areas. Front hand pockets, back welt pockets, and a zippered left thigh pocket provide practical storage, while back waist comfort elastic enhances fit. Lower leg zippers with gussets make it easier to accommodate boots and layering, and screen printed logos complete the design.
