The durable 300D polyester outer shell uses a HydrX 10K™ waterproof, 8K breathable, and windproof laminate with critical seam sealing and a PFAS-free DWR finish to help block snow, moisture, and cold air. Abrasion-resistant 660D nylon reinforces the knees, insteps, and hems, while F.A.S.T. 3.0™ and FXR Thermal Flex™ insulation deliver a combined 210g insulation value and a maximum warmth rating of 8. 

Built-in safety features include a whistle on the front zipper pull, a tether retention D-ring with integrated line-cutter, removable knee pads for protection while kneeling on rough ice, and reflective inserts for improved low-light visibility. Thermal and dry seat and knee inserts add protection in high-contact areas, while fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets, large magnetic cargo pockets, adjustable suspenders, and a stretch waist insert improve comfort and utility. Storm cuffs with front boot-lace retention and adjustable leg length help maintain secure coverage throughout the day.
