Speedwerx L2 Series Lightweight Muffler - Stage 1 (no ECU re-mapping needed)

Our TIG welded 304 Stainless Steel muffler is a must-have for the new 998 Turbo models. After extensive testing, we are seeing a solid 15hp gain over stock with no mapping or fuel changes, with a nice 8lb weight loss as well. We took special care in the design to make sure boost levels and safe air-fuel ratios were maintained with this muffler- our testing showed other configurations like our Stage 2 muffler made more power, but the boost level had increased and the AFR's became lean. Even though this is our L2 (Light and Loud) version, the sound level is reasonably low. Much like the similarly designed mufflers we have for the 1100 Turbo models, it is louder than stock but the turbo itself does a lot to help quiet it down to a tolerable level for everyday trail riding.
