Hinged tusk rack modification

You should off a hinge and lift assist kit for this rack. Next i am working on a system to raise and lower the front edge of the tusk roof. That way it will have a 1" air gap for ventilation above the ryfab windshield.

Great Rack

Solid rack. Must have for the X3 if you plan on riding for more than a couple hours. Cooler, Fuel, Water , camping gear. It all fits and can be secured through multiple tie down options.

Good fit, and plenty of spots to tie off to.

Bought this for our 2020 X3 RC RR. Arrived is excellent condition. Lots of screws on each of 3 clamps. Move your shock reservoirs out of the way, and make sure it's just right before tightening it down. Solid when it's done.

Only issue after install is removing prefilter cover in the bed. The rack makes it a total pain to wiggle the cover off/out.

Very nice

It was easy for me to install but I'm a small lady. I would think it would be more difficult for a guy because of the tight areas but if you have the right tools.....
