Great product, asy to install. Well worth the money.

Got this kit to make my ‘05 250exc fully street legal.

I am very happy with the end result. Makes for a clean install...but be warned, it’s a bit of a project. Despite it being a “kit”, nothing is model specific, at least for my bike. I got a big box of universal fit parts.

Install is more or less a custom job. You will need to tear down your bike, drill holes, do actual electrical work, and in some cases, modify things slightly to make it work. Nothing, except for maybe the handguards, will bolt right up. This is not one of those kits you clip together and zip tie on in 20 minutes.

Not everything utilizes pin connectors, so a decent amount of actual wiring is required. The included connectors are not the best either, I recommend either soldering or using a good marine-grade heat shrink crimp connector so you don’t need to worry about it again.

You will need to tap into the factory wiring harness, for the headlight switch, if your bike has a stator and headlight stock. If it doesn't, that's another piece of the puzzle you'll need to figure out.

The harness fit cleanly under the tank, then tucked into the airbox where the battery is mounted. All of the rear lighting fit well under my rear fender. I had to modify my tank and seat slightly to create a tad more space for the extra wiring bulk running along the top tube.

Install isn't incredibly difficult, just time consuming. This is basically like wiring a motorcycle up from scratch. Took me about 4 hours.

I went a step further and also wired in a key (Sicass Keyed Kill Switch), since my bike is a kickstart. The key turns the lights on/off instead of the included switch. You can also replace your kill switch with it - when its in the off position, it kills the ignition circuit so the bike can’t be kickstarted.

Lights are all awesome for the price. All street bike quality stuff. Tail light and rear signals need to be custom mounted, but installed cleanly. I love the integrated handguard signals too. Like other people mentioned, horn is too quiet to actually do anything, but it’s enough to get you past inspection.

Battery life is great, I haven’t been out riding long enough for it to die yet. I have it hooked up to the charger every night. I think I’m going to eventually wire power from the stator into the harness like an actual charging system, so I don’t need to worry about it ever dying.

So yeah, kind of involved install...but super worth it in the end. You’ll have a legit lighting kit you can rely on, that should have no issue getting past a state inspection with it, if you need one.

Easy installation and everything works as advertised. The only issue I have is I'm missing the hand guard mounts and was told they were backordered. Then the Minnesota DMV partially closed due to covid. Otherwise works great for my 13 WR450F.
