Takes a little bit to install but invaluable when on the trail. It’s a great insurance policy for your floor boards and helps your machine slide right over rocks.

Just installed the Quiet Glide Skid plate on a 2020 Kawasaki KRX1000 this weekend.
This is the first aftermarket item I purchased on this SxS, because the stock skid plate/s are worthless, and I took some slight damage on the steel one in the middle of the machine on my first real ride, so i immediately ordered it after that ride.

I was able to install it myself, but a second pair of hands would have made it easier on a couple of sections during install ie; the parts that require folding around the front of the floor boards.
I'd like to point out that while drilling the holes through the floor boards, be especially careful on the drivers side, as the floor board is with in a 1/2 inch or less of the steel you are drilling through. It does state to remove the floor boards in the instructions on both driver and passenger side, but I did not want to take the time to do so, so I took my chances. The passenger side wasnt even close to the steel when drilling the holes, but their is a noticeable difference between the two sides.

The only issue I had installing this skid plate was at the rear plate, where it says to "start here" with a red arrow pointing to 3 "A" holes (No pun intended) it says that I just screw directly into a factory welded nut on each side of the second row of "A" Holes (Again, no pun intended) from the very back of the machine. My machine did not have those nuts welded, but just a hole most likely for drainage. I had to drill the hole slightly larger, then just install a flange nut where the instruction said they were welded. No real issue, but dont let it confuse you.

All in all, i really like the skid plate, and already it saved the bottom of the machine from some volcanic rock where are sharp. I would buy it again.

I have a 2019 900 trail rzr and just installed the tusk skid plate; I had one on my 2014 rzr as well... I wouldn't ride without one. If I only had one add on it would be the skid plate.

Nice upgrade from OEM skid. Installation was relatively easy.
