Great Buy!

I bought an older Polaris 500 for my son to ride in the backyard and plow the driveway with. I was not looking at spending a lot of money, but I hate buying something cheap and having to pay more later on to buy the better product. After reading many reviews written by others, I was persuaded to buy the cheaper plow, which ended up being the high quality and well built plow. I could not be happier. I had it assembled in about 1 hour, I watched the instruction videos on how to install which was very helpful. I was also happy to see it is really easy to take on and off. It takes maybe 2 minutes. All you have do is pull 2 pins, under the belly of the quad and unhook the wench. To hook back up, slide the 2 pins back in and hook up the wench. This has been great for the fact I use it to hunt and did not want to have the plow on the front. I love how easy it is to adjust the angle of the plow. I am really happy with this buy and appreciate the people that took the time to put in comments. I would have went with the plows that cost twice as much; thinking it was going to be a quality issue with this plow, which there is not.

Snow Killer

I purchased the Tusk Sub-Zero 60" Plow this past January for winters here in the NEK Vermont. I had to plow a very steep asphalt driveway approx 50 yards long and 15 ft wide and this plow exceeded my expectations. The winter this year was very mild and the most amount of snow I had to plow at any one time was between 8 and 10 inches and it worked perfectly every single time! I can't wait until next winter when we get some real snow to plow. I like the ease of changing blade angles and lifting points. I gave it 5 Stars.

Bang for your buck....without a DOUBT!

Ordered on a Monday night and mount came on a Thursday and plow/tubes came on Friday. I assembled by myself in about a hour. Everything lined up and swivel works flawlessly. I was looking to plow just my cement driveway which isn't that large and price was the driving factor. Extremely surprised on the quality of the entire unit, thick steel with a thick powder coating on it. Much better than the 10 year old Country Plow I previously was using. The wear bar has holes offset so it can't be flipped to use both sides, maybe but you would have much material if you did. I did run into an issue with the mount fitting up to my specific ATV. After many a hand full of emails back and forth it turns out the website was incorrect on the mount fitting my '09 Arctic Cat TRV. Customer service was frankly, wonderful to deal with to get to the bottom of what was happening. I was in talk with customer service, the tech. brands dept. and also the designers. Response was prompt and they researched all that I was telling them and pointing out. They offered to take the unit back however I like it so much that I can modify the mount slightly to make it work. I can see and they also pointed out how this happened when it was being designed. The website will be updated and a resolution was determined. Other than that issue, which the customer service trumped, I'm more than pleased and I'm a tough one to impress with products. Looking forward to the winter this year!

I typically do not write reviews....

I simply do my research prior to buying something, especially when I am new to the market and have no clue what I am doing. So, I did my research and decided to go with the Tusk 60" for my 2008 King Quad 750. Everything arrived in 3 boxes. Due to the weight, I suspected that the boxes would be trashed, and small parts would be missing. The boxes were trashed due to shipping, but all of the small parts were boxed separately and nothing was missing. Kudo's on the packaging!

Next, I do a bit of welding, so I checked the welds out....works for me! Kudo's on the welds!

Next, paint. Somebody took the time to clean up weld spatter and lay down a pretty decent coat of paint. Kudo's on the paint!

Next, being a typical guy who throws the instructions to the side, demanding to prove that I am worthy of the installation task at hand without somebody showing me how to do it, I found the installation quite simple (Manly man, pounding on his chest). Kudo's on ease of installation!

I can't comment on durability, ease of use or performance because it hasn't snowed here yet. But, I don't see any issues. This plow is made of some serious tubing and plates. I am impressed.

I also read reviews from the various plow purchasers at various retailers websites. It seems that everybody had something negative to say about every plow manufacturer.....except for the Tusk plow. I took note of that.

Currently, the plow is sitting on my welding table. I was going to move it, but it's freaking heavy! I'll just wait until it snows, then go have some fun with it. All I can really say is that I am honestly impressed with the craftsmanship, materials, etc.

Was the purchase worth it? Yep. I'm not going to say "you gotta get this thing!" I would rather say, do your research and be honest with yourself. In the end, you will be back here to buy the Tusk.

Two thumbs up the the guys/gals at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC! You nailed it with this plow.
