I am a do-it-yourselfer, and I found the plow package pretty easy to install. My only gripe is that in one of the plow mount holes where the blade attaches to the pivot point there was some extra welding flecks that were in the threads of one of the holes. Other than that, a fantastic and seamless purchase from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC!

I shopped around at dealers. $450 - 800 plus $45 - 75 for shipping and they would have to order it 2 to 3 weeks out. Then I would have to drive 120+ miles to get it. The plows they had were nothing special and blades were light and a one-size-fits-all plate to adapt it to ATV.

Arrived at my door 2.5 days after ordered on Friday night. Factory packing is amazing, bubble wrap, fitted foam, bolts and fasteners sealed in individual heavy plastic bags for each application. Instructions on the outside of the box in the invoice pouch for each part, plus videos on the website.

Everything fit. Perfectly. The mounting plate fit my ATV exactly. Bushings, bolts, pins exact number and high quality. Not one lock washer, all self-locking nuts. I had planned on having to weld, grind and beef up the blade, I usually do on most things I buy. Not on this plow. Very well made, heavier than most, no spatter or flaws. Did I say everything fit?

They correctly tell you to have help when putting together. I'm stubborn and did not. I would rather fight with the plow than my daughters or spouse. Took me 3 hours, with help half of that.

I got the 60 inch blade and it does very well. At full angle it still a bit wider than the ATV for a clean cut. I have plowed every day since I got it. 4 to 10 inches of snow each time. I plow about 2.2 miles, dirt/gravel road and around the yard. The blade is right on the ground, as I don't want ice when it decides to warmup. So I am using this pretty hard at it standing up real well. I checked the bots and fasteners today and everything is still tight. Again, speaks to quality of fasteners and the right application in the right place.

*** I ordered this for a 2000 Polaris Sportsman. I selected 2008 because that was the oldest option I could select. 3 boxes showed up at the door, all together on the same day. Only took about 1 hour to put together (videos were a huge help). I watched the videos in the garage and followed along step by step. It seems like a very high quality plow. I have not used it yet, but I can not see it not working. Attaches and detaches easily. Which is huge for me, I do not want to have the plow on when hunting. All you have to do is pull to pins and unhook the wench. The pivot on the plow works great. I am excited for our first snow to try this out.
