Unlike conventional cat-delete systems, this header set is designed to retain the OEM exhaust valve, ensuring best low down torque is maintained qas a result of preserving optimal exhaust backpressure for strong low-end torque, while preventing ECU fault lights or error codes commonly associated with exhaust valve removal.

Manufactured from lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium, the system delivers substantial weight savings over the factory catalytic headers, significantly reducing heat build-up while improving throttle response and overall power output. The reduction in radiated heat also enhances rider comfort, particularly in slow-speed or high-temperature riding conditions.

The Vandemon Titanium Headers are fully compatible with BMW Motorrad OEM side cases and integrate seamlessly with both the OEM BMW mufflerand Vandemon titanium mufflers. They are also compatible with other aftermarket mufflers designed to work with OEM header fitment, offering maximum flexibility for riders upgrading in stages.

• Note: Upon installation on Euro 5+ models (with tri plelambda sensors), the engine control unit (ECU) may activate a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and illuminate the malfunction indicator light (MIL) due to deviations from the factory-calibrated emissions monitoring protocols, due to the catalytic converter being rendered redundant as an informational alert. To avoid the warning light being activated, an appropriate ECU remap is recommended.
