Zard products are the perfect symbiosis of craftsmanship and technology. We use only the highest quality raw materials: AISI 304 stainless steel pipes and sheets, titanium, and carbon fiber. TIG and MIG/MAG welds are performed by hand by specialized operators, and the black ceramic coating used for painting the exhausts can withstand temperatures of over 1000°C. Every system is personally tested both on the road and on a test bench, and each production step is carried out with the utmost care, attention, and above all, genuine passion.

Homologations

Products available in a homologated version are marked with the word ‘homologated’, which can be selected from the options list. Removing the DB killer from homologated exhausts results in the loss of both homologation and warranty.
The Italian Ministry of Transport has officially authorized Officine Italiane Zard to manufacture motorcycle exhausts with certification valid throughout the European Union. Zard exhausts are designed and built to meet high-quality standards and, for homologated models, ensure compliance with European directives regarding exhaust system approval (Directive 97/24/EC, EU Regulation 134/2014).

Each Zard homologated exhaust system is stamped with the homologation number found on the certificate supplied with the product, which must be presented to law enforcement upon request. The homologated exhaust is equivalent to the original one and therefore does not need to be replaced during motorcycle inspections.
