UpMap Suite

  • Optimized Mapping

The UpMap T800+ control unit for Triumph® Trident 660, developed in collaboration between Zard and UpMap, allows to optimize the motorcycle’s performance in E5+ configuration. Thanks to ECU remapping, UpMap ensures smooth operation and prevents the activation of the "CAT" warning light, which can be triggered due to emission regulations and the replacement of the OEM exhaust system. If the warning light activates, it indicates a catalytic converter anomaly, without compromising the motorcycle’s performance.

The UpMap Suite, consisting of the T800+ device, the diagnostic cable, and the UpMap application to access optimized mappings for Triumph® Trident 660, enhances performance and riding experience.

The motorcycle’s ECU can be easily reconfigured, independently, and safely: the T800+ device connects via the diagnostic cable and allows you to upload maps developed and tested by UpMap experts.

The UpMap system is available exclusively in combination with a Zard exhaust or de-catalyst for Triumph® Trident 660.

My Trident Finally Feels Complete

I added the ZARD ECU Upmap kit to my 2022 Triumph Trident 660 after fitting a ZARD slip-on exhaust, and the result has been outstanding. The bike already looked and sounded amazing, but with this ECU tune, the performance now matches the character.

Installation was simple and quick—plug in the T800+ unit, connect through the UpMap app, and the optimized map was uploaded in minutes. I didn’t need a mechanic, and the instructions were clear enough for me to do everything in my garage.

On the road, the improvement is immediately noticeable. Throttle response is sharper, the mid-range feels stronger, and acceleration is smoother overall. Even during city riding, the bike feels more responsive without being twitchy. The biggest win for me is that the dreaded “CAT” warning light is gone—no more distractions on the dash when running the aftermarket exhaust.

This upgrade has made my Trident 660 more fun, reliable, and enjoyable in every riding condition. For anyone pairing their bike with a ZARD exhaust, this ECU Upmap is a must-have. It ties everything together and truly brings out the best in the Trident.

Trident Reawakened—Smooth Power, No Warning Lights

I recently installed the ZARD UpMap Suite (which includes the T800+ control unit, diagnostic cable, and UpMap app) on my 2023 Triumph Trident 660, after upgrading to a ZARD exhaust. The change has been dramatic—in the best way.

Installation was a breeze. I simply plugged the T800+ into the bike’s diagnostic port, connected the cable, launched the UpMap app, and uploaded the optimized map. The whole process took under half an hour and required zero mechanical expertise
On the road, the difference is undeniable. Throttle response is now silky-smooth and significantly more refined throughout the mid-range. Accelerating feels more linear and responsive—perfect for navigating both tight city corners and open stretches. The bike rides calmer, yet all the more capable.

And the best part? That annoying “CAT” warning light, which often crops up after installing an aftermarket exhaust, has disappeared entirely. The ECU remap is tailored to run seamlessly with the ZARD exhaust in an E5+ fuel setup, eliminating the warning without compromising performance.

My Trident 660 Feels Like a New Beast—Smooth, Reliable, Warning-Light Free

Just added the ZARD UpMap Suite—the T800+ control unit, diagnostic cable, and UpMap app—to my 2022 Triumph Trident 660, alongside a ZARD full exhaust, and wow—the ride transformed in an instant.

Installation couldn’t have been easier: plug the T800+ into the diagnostic port, launch the UpMap app, choose the optimized map for the ZARD exhaust, and upload. I was out riding in under 30 minutes, no mechanic or special tools required.
The difference on the road is immediately noticeable. Power delivery is smoother and more consistent across the throttle range. Mid-range pulls feel stronger, yet refined—corner exits are more responsive, overtakes smoother—and the bike just feels more connected to my inputs.

Best of all? That annoying “CAT” warning light, which often appears after adding an aftermarket exhaust—gone. The ECU remap ensures the bike runs cleanly in E5+ configurations and prevents the warning light from ever blinking.
