The 2‑in‑1 Full Kit (Euro 4/5 approved) by Zard for the Yamaha MT‑07 / XSR700 is entirely handcrafted in Italy, combining premium craftsmanship with advanced technology. The structure and sleeve are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the end cap is available in carbon fiber or stainless steel. The finish is available in either satin or black.

I decided to swap out the stock exhaust on my 2019 Yamaha MT‑07 for the ZARD Homologated Full Kit, and wow—what a remarkable upgrade. From the moment I hit the starter button, the tone transformed instantly: rich, crisp, and assertive—without any unpleasant drone. It's powerful without compromising on street legality, thanks to the Euro 4/5 homologation and the included removable dB‑killer.
The craftsmanship is next‑level. The entire kit—including the structure and sleeve—is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, with your choice of carbon fiber or stainless end cap. For those who want extra flair, there’s even a black ceramic coating option that can withstand temperatures over 1000 °C.
Performance gains are noticeable. The stock exhaust weighed about 8 kg (17.6 lbs); this kit clocks in at just 3.7 kg (8.2 lbs), shaving nearly 4.3 kg (9.5 lbs)—which translates right into more nimble handling and sharper throttle response.. Plus, installation was a breeze—pure plug‑and‑play with no ECU remapping necessary
Visually, the stainless steel shines beautifully, and the carbon fiber end cap adds a stealthy, high-end look. The welds are spotless, each piece feels robust, and I can tell it’s proudly handcrafted in Italy with real attention to detail.
After installing the kit, city commuting felt more engaging—more bite at lower revs, and a richer sound. On open roads, that deeper mid-range really brings out the MT-07’s character. Weight aside, it simply breathed new life into the bike.
I couldn’t wait to upgrade my 2021 Yamaha MT‑07 with the ZARD Homologated Full Kit, and the result absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I fired up the bike, it unleashed a richer, throatier growl that still remains perfectly balanced—no drone, just crisp, exhilarating sound.
The craftsmanship is immediately noticeable. The kit is built from high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel and offers a choice of end cap—sleek carbon fiber or brushed stainless—both of which feel premium and look stunning on the tail section. Plus, ZARD handcrafts each unit in Italy, complete with meticulous TIG/MIG‑MAG welds and an optional black ceramic coating rated to withstand over 1000 °C
Performance-wise, the upgrade packed a noticeable punch. The ZARD kit cuts the weight of the original exhaust (around 8 kg) by nearly half—coming in at just 3.7 kg—a lean 4.3 kg reduction.
I felt it immediately: sharper throttle response, more agile handling, and noticeably livelier mid‑range power.
Installation was refreshingly simple—plug‑&‑play, no ECU tuning or modifications needed. And thanks to the homologated (Euro 4/5) version with the included db‑killer, I can enjoy that fat exhaust note while staying completely street-legal
If there’s an improvement I’d suggest, it’s minor: the carbon fiber end cap needs just a little extra care to keep its pristine appearance—but that’s a small price to pay for the stunning upgrade in every other aspect.
Overall? ZARD transformed my MT-07 into a more dynamic, head-turning machine—without compromising legality, comfort, or quality. I’m thrilled with the upgrade and would highly recommend it to any MT-07 rider looking to elevate their bike’s sound, feel, and performance.
I recently upgraded my 2020 Yamaha MT‑07 with the ZARD Homologated Full Kit, and the transformation is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I fired it up, the bike's voice changed—now full-bodied, deep, and utterly commanding. This exhaust strikes the perfect balance: assertive and thrilling without veering into overbearing territory.
The build quality is outstanding: everything—welds, finishes, materials—is clearly crafted with care. It’s made with AISI 304 stainless steel, and the end cap choices—carbon fiber or steel—along with the ceramic coatings, speak to ZARD’s dedication to premium engineering and design
Performance-wise, the results are tangible. I dropped nearly 4.3 kg compared to stock (3.7 kg vs. 8 kg), and you can feel the weight savings in every corner—quicker turn‑in, more responsive throttle, and noticeably peppier mid‑range torque. The install was seamless too—plug‑and‑play, with no need for ECU remapping or modifications
My MT-07 now not only looks sharper with its sleek finish, but it sounds as though it’s hungry for the road. Riding around town feels invigorating, and attacks on twisty backroads are a blast. If you're in the market for an exhaust that truly elevates sound, feel, and performance—all while staying street-legal—ZARD’s Homologated Full Kit is absolutely worth it.
I recently installed the ZARD Full Kit Homologated Exhaust on my 2020 Yamaha MT-07, and the transformation is incredible. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything from the welds to the fit and finish screams quality. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided.
But what really stands out is the sound. It has a deep, aggressive tone without being obnoxiously loud. It’s homologated, so I’m still street-legal, which is a big plus. Performance-wise, I noticed smoother throttle response and a slight improvement in mid-range torque.
If you're on the fence about upgrading your exhaust, I can't recommend the ZARD kit enough. It's the perfect balance of style, sound, and performance. Worth every penny.
