Available in either a polished or matte black Cerakote® finish, the system is completed with solid billet aluminium end caps and a stainless steel Zard logo.

The slip-ons for the Harley-Davidson® Road Glide Special are easy to install, requires no ECU remapping, and are ready to use.

I recently upgraded my 2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special with the ZARD Flat 4.33-inch Slip-Ons, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how they transformed both the look and feel of my ride.

Build Quality & Style

Right out of the box, these slip-ons exude craftsmanship. The hand-made stainless steel silencers (AISI 304) feel solid and weighty—and they’re topped off with clean, billet aluminum end caps. I chose the matte-black Cerakote® finish, and in the sunlight, the bike’s rear now has this matte, muscular presence that commands attention.
Performance Gains & Weight Savings

I opted for the Racing version, and even before riding, there’s a noticeable difference in heft—ZARD advertises a weight reduction of around 0.3 kg compared to stock, which feels surprisingly noticeable given the bike’s size. On the road, there's an immediate and satisfying +2.2 hp bump—throttle response is crisper, acceleration more eager, and overtaking on the freeway feels noticeably more fluid.
Installation Simplicity

True to their promise, these slip-ons were a bolt-on affair. No ECU tweaking required, no complicated steps—just swap out the OEM cans, torque down, and go. I had everything set up in under an hour, and fitment was flawless for the 2006–2016 RGS model.
Sound & Ride Feel

Turn the ignition, and the rumble is richer—deep, masculine, and unmistakably Harley—but not harsh. On the move, the growl resonates beautifully through the fairing, giving every ride a soundtrack that feels earned, not overblown. Cruising at speed now delivers a refined thrum, while dialing the throttle delivers a satisfying roar that’s pure Harley emotion.

I recently upgraded my 2014 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special with the ZARD Flat 4.33-inch Slip-Ons, and let me tell you—what a transformation it made.

Craft & Finish

Right from the box, these exhausts exude premium quality. Each slip-on is hand-made in Italy from AISI 304 stainless steel, topped with anodized aluminum end caps and a sharp ZARD logo—simple, yet striking. I opted for the matte-black Cerakote® variant, which pairs perfectly with my bike’s custom trim.
Performance & Weight

Choosing the Racing version was the right call. ZARD’s data shows a weight of 7.7 kg, shaving about 0.3 kg off the stock system, and delivering a noticeable bump of +2.2 hp. The bike now accelerates with a livelier pulse and mid-range feel that’s both immediate and smooth.

Install Process

The install was remarkably simple—true plug-and-play. No ECU remap was needed; it’s a direct fit for the 2006–2016 Road Glide Special. I had them on, tightened, and roaring in under an hour.
Sound & Ride Feel

The growl these slip-ons emit is deep, aggressive, and refined—not overpowering, but undeniably commanding. Throttle response sharpened immediately, and highway cruising now comes with a richer rumble that’s simply addictive.

I just wrapped up installing the ZARD Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special and wow what a leap forward

Build & Aesthetic

These exhausts scream premium. Crafted from hand-made AISI 304 stainless steel in Italy, they feature billet aluminum end caps and a refined matte-black Cerakote® finish that gives my ride a stealthy, sophisticated edge. Every weld looks meticulous, and the ZARD logo subtly etched on the cap adds a sleek touch.
Performance & Weight

I went with the Racing version, and the results speak volumes. The kit sheds about 0.3 kg, making it noticeably lighter than stock. More impressively, I can feel a +2.2 hp boost—acceleration off the line is sharper, and there's a newfound responsiveness in mid-range that makes highway cruising more thrilling.
Installation

A true bolt-on upgrade—no ECU remapping, no tuning hoops—just unbolt the old and slip these on. I had them installed and fired up in under an hour. Fitment is seamless, tailored perfectly to the 2006–2016 Road Glide Special.
Sound & Ride Feel

The sound is the real show-stopper. It roars with a deep, commanding growl that’s aggressive yet refined—not abrasive, but unmistakably Harley. Pair that with improved throttle pressure and engine voice, and the riding experience instantly became more alive and engaging.
