The 4.33 inch racing slip-ons for the Harley-Davidson® Road Glide Limited exhaust combine the style and technology typical of Officine Italiane Zard products with the timeless appeal of Milwaukee’s iconic touring models. This exhaust system features a pair of fully hand-made racing silencers, made of AISI 304 stainless steel, in Italy.
Available in either a polished or matte black Cerakote® finish, the system is completed with solid billet aluminium end caps and a stainless steel Zard logo.

The improvements are not just aesthetic: the Zard system for the Harley-Davidson® Road Glide Limited is lighter than the OEM exhaust system, and delivers improved performance, with a gain of 2.2 hp in the racing version and 1.2 hp in the homologated version.

The slip-ons for the Harley-Davidson® Road Glide Limited are easy to install, requires no ECU remapping, and are ready to use.

I recently equipped my 2012 Road Glide Limited with the ZARD and let me tell you—it’s a game changer

Craftsmanship & Design
The build quality is immediately striking. These slip-ons are entirely handmade in Italy from premium AISI 304 stainless steel and adorned with billet aluminum end caps—the detailing feels truly upscale. Whether you opt for the polished or matte-black Cerakote® finish, the look elevates the whole bike
Weight & Performance
One of the first things I noticed was how much lighter the bike felt. The ZARD system trims approximately 0.3 kg (about 0.66 pounds) off the stock exhaust weight without compromising presence But things get better: choosing the racing version delivered a tangible power bump of around +2.2 hp—noticeable on open stretches and during overtakes
Installation Experience
Installation was refreshingly simple—no remapping the ECU, no tuning headaches. It was bolt-on, easy, and ready to ride right away
Sound & Ride Feel
As soon as I fired up the engine, I was grinning ear to ear. The tone is rich, full-bodied, and unmistakably Harley—assertive without bordering on obnoxious. It strikes a beautiful balance for cruising or carving through winding roads.

Added Bonus: Heat Management
I was surprised to find that even in Ecuador's warmer rides, the bike ran noticeably cooler. The exhaust seems to manage (and dissipate) heat much more efficiently—a small but appreciated perk
Final Take
If you're seeking an upgrade that blends Italian precision, improved performance, enhanced aesthetics, and comfort, these ZARD slip-ons deliver on every front. My Road Glide Limited feels more alive than ever—lighter, sharper, cooler running, and sounding sharper.

Highly recommended by me

Riding off the showroom floor of my 2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited, I'd been dreaming of something with better sound and a weight saving—so I took the plunge and installed the ZARD Exhaust Slip-Ons Flat 4.33 Inches (2006–2016), and I’m already plotting my next long ride.

Right out of the box, you can feel the artisanal quality: these are handmade in Italy from AISI 304 stainless steel with solid billet aluminum end caps, and they come in either a polished or matte black Cerakote® finish There's nothing mass-produced about this—just craftsmanship that speaks to every touring enthusiast.

Installation was refreshingly painless—no ECU tweaks or tuning headaches required. I had them bolted on and heat-set in less than an hour And then I noticed something almost immediate: my bike felt lighter, a confirmed weight saving of about 0.3 kg over the stock system
Performance gains were real, too—and not just hype. The racing version I chose delivered a solid +2.2 hp boost, louder and livelier than the homologated +1.2 hp option On the road, the bike felt more eager—especially when climbing hills or accelerating onto highways.

But the real highlight? The sound. It’s gruff and muscular, echoing the unmistakable Harley spirit—but without the ear-splitting roar. Rich, refined, and perfectly tuned for both open roads and neighborhood cruising.

In short, the ZARD Slip-Ons Flat 4.33″ are more than just an upgrade—they’re an evolution. Elevated sound quality, tangible performance gains, lighter weight, and effortless installation. If you own a Road Glide Limited, this is the kind of mod that makes every mile feel purpose-built.

I recently fitted the ZARD Exhaust Slip-Ons Flat 4.33 Inches onto my 2010 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I unpacked them, the craftsmanship spoke volumes—each silencer is hand-made from AISI 304 stainless steel in Italy, with a polished finish and billet aluminum end caps that give my bike a seriously refined aesthetic
Installation was a breeze—straightforward and painless with no need for ECU remapping Once mounted, the bike felt noticeably lighter—ZARD's version sheds about 0.3 kg versus the OEM setup Most impressive was the immediate performance boost—around +2.2 hp in the 'racing' version I opted for Acceleration feels crisper, and highway cruising is smoother and more confident.

But let’s talk about the sound—oh, that growl! Deep, throaty, and unmistakably Harley—not deafening, but rich and authoritative. It strikes exactly the right balance, turning heads without being a long-ride nuisance And here's a bonus I didn't anticipate: the bike runs cooler. Even under hot conditions, heat dissipates noticeably better, making long trips far more comfortable
Overall, the ZARD Slip-Ons delivered exactly what they promised: superior build quality, a boost in performance, that classic Harley tone, and improved comfort. Highly recommended for Road Glide Limited owners looking to elevate their ride—these are worth every cent.
