I finally took the plunge and installed the ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit on my 2013 Rocket III Touring—and wow, what a game‑changer. Right out of the box, you can sense the craftsmanship: this system is entirely handcrafted in Italy by Officine Italiane Zard with GP Tecnica, using AISI 304 stainless steel and featuring clean, robust TIG welds—this feels like something built to last and impress
The first thing you notice—the weight difference is staggering. The original stock exhaust weighs around 21.5 kg, but the ZARD kit slims that down to just 4.3 kg—so you’re shedding nearly 17.2 kg (38 lbs) off the back end. The bike immediately felt more eager, more responsive—especially noticeable when flicking it through corners or cruising slower speeds.
Performance improvements were tangible too. There’s a notable increase in mid-range throttle response and low-end torque, plus a touch of extra peak power (about +1.5 HP) that makes accelerating feel feather-light but still punchy when you open it up.
And the sound… absolutely sublime. At idle the Rocket rumbles with a low, menacing growl. Give it some throttle and it roars—not loud in a crude way, but rich, deep, and unmistakably purposeful
Installation was clean and painless—this is a true bolt-on, no modifications or trimming required. It tucked right into place and transformed the bike’s rear aesthetic immediately. Available finishes like satin, black Cerakote, or the dramatic “snake weld” give the bike extra visual flair depending on your vibe
Bottom line: the ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit elevates the Rocket III on every front—weight, sound, responsiveness, and style. It’s like adding horsepower, presence, and even personality in one package. If you're looking to breathe new life into your Rocket, this is certainly the way to do it.
I finally got my hands on the ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit for my 2011 Rocket III Roadster, and the transformation is genuinely jaw‑dropping. This isn’t just any exhaust—it’s a piece of Italian artistry. Handcrafted in Italy by Officine Italiane Zard alongside GP Tecnica, it exudes premium craftsmanship from stem to stern.
First off, the weight savings are unreal. The original Rocket III exhaust weighed approximately 21.5 kg, but the ZARD kit shaves that down to just 4.3 kg—a massive 17.2 kg (nearly 38 lb) difference. The bike feels lighter—way more nimble in low-speed corners and more eager when you lay into the throttle.
Performance has noticeably improved. There’s a tangible bump in low- and mid-range torque, and peak power climbs by about 1.5 HP—just enough to make the Rocket feel sharper without needing a full dyno remap
And oh, the sound is spectacular—what you'd expect from such a beast: deep, thunderous, and authoritative without ever becoming obnoxious. It growls at idle with a low, menacing rumble, and when you open it up, the roar is addictive
Installation was seamless—a direct bolt-on with zero fitment issues or modifications required. Aesthetically, it cleans up the bike’s rear end and integrates beautifully with the Rocket’s muscular form—especially if you go for the snake‑weld finish or classic satin
Bottom line? The ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit transforms the Rocket III into an even more commanding ride—ushering in sharper responsiveness, a spine-tingling soundtrack, and eye-catching elegance. Every Rocket owner craving that perfect blend of Italian craftsmanship and raw performance should give this kit a serious look
After installing the ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit on my 2008 Rocket III Classic, I can confidently say it's one of the best upgrades I've ever made. Crafted entirely in Italy by Officine Italiane Zard with the GP Tecnica group, this exhaust system is more than just a part—it’s a statement of quality and design.
The first thing I noticed was the massive weight reduction. The stock system weighed in around 21.5 kg, but the ZARD kit slims that down dramatically to just 4.3 kg—shedding nearly 17.2 kg (about 38 lbs)!. The bike feels noticeably lighter, more responsive, and agile—particularly when navigating tight corners or rolling out of low-speed turns.
Sound-wise, it strikes the perfect balance: deep, thunderous, and commanding, yet never obnoxious. At idle, it's a smooth, menacing growl that suits the Rocket’s muscular stance; winding up the throttle brings a roar that’s intoxicating without being overwhelming
The craftsmanship is nothing short of exceptional. From the AISI 304 stainless steel to the clean welds and optional finishes—whether satin, black ceramic, or the attention-grabbing snake welds—it all speaks of attention to detail
Performance hasn’t been overlooked either. There's a palpable improvement in throttle response and mid-range torque, giving the bike more character and punch without sacrificing smoothness
Installation was a breeze—no modifications needed, and it fit like it was made just for my bike. Overall, the ZARD ‘Sport’ Full Kit elevated everything I love about the Rocket III—style, sound, performance, and craftsmanship. If you're looking to transform your Rocket into something even more memorable, this kit delivers on every level.
I installed the ZARD "Sport" Full Kit on my 2010 Rocket III Roadster, and it’s a total game-changer. The Rocket has always had the torque and presence, but this exhaust finally gives it the voice and performance it deserves.
First off, the craftsmanship is superb. The full system is beautifully engineered with high-quality materials, precise welds, and a fit that required zero modification. It’s lighter than the stock setup, and the design gives the bike a sleeker, more aggressive look — especially with the dual low-mounted pipes.
The sound is absolutely phenomenal. It’s deep and thunderous without being obnoxious. At idle, it has a low, menacing rumble, and when you crack the throttle, it roars with pure authority. It's the kind of sound that makes you smile every time you ride.
Performance-wise, there's a noticeable improvement. Throttle response is sharper, mid-range feels stronger, and the overall ride just feels more dynamic. I paired it with a tune to get the most out of the system, and the results are impressive.
If you're looking to upgrade your Rocket III in a way that enhances power, sound, and aesthetics all at once, this ZARD full kit is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
