Refined growl with style: ZARD Avio brings character to the ride.

I recently outfitted my Low Rider ST with the ZARD Slip-Ons “Avio” exhaust, and the transformation was instantly noticeable. From the first twist of the throttle, my bike spoke in a deep, rolling rumble—not too aggressive, but assertive enough to turn heads.

Installation was refreshingly straightforward. The slip-ons dropped right onto the stock manifolds with precision, aligning cleanly and feeling like a quality OEM option rather than an aftermarket add-on.

Once on the road, the sound lives up to the “Avio” name—slick, polished, and purposefully tuned. There’s a smooth, rumbling tone at idle and during low revs; open up the throttle, and it steps into a richer, more resonant growl without ever becoming obnoxious.

From a design standpoint, the finish is impeccable. The Avio tips bring a sleek, modern aesthetic to the rear—subtle yet striking, they elevate the bike’s presence whether cruising or parked.

It’s not a full-throated race pipe—don’t expect ear-splitting decibels or corner-carving aggression. But if you’re chasing a balanced upgrade—better flow, enhanced bark under throttle, and a refined visual boost—the Avio delivers.

Bottom Line: The ZARD Avio Slip-Ons enhance the Low Rider ST with a refined sound and premium look. Ideal for riders who want just enough growl to be noticed, without overstepping the line into overtly loud territory.

Bold, refined, and unmistakably ZARD. A ride that roars with elegance

From the moment I slipped these Avio slip-ons onto my Low Rider ST, I knew something special had arrived. Instantly, I could feel the weight lift—these aren’t just mufflers; they’re precision-crafted sound sculptors that transform the ride.

When I fired up the engine, a clean, rolling growl emerged—not ear-splitting, but rich and confident. The tone strikes a perfect balance between refined performance and that classic Harley throatiness. Cruising through the city, I felt connected and commanding; on the open road, the pipes resonate differently—deep, throaty, and alive.

Installation was refreshingly straightforward. The fit felt factory-tight, and everything aligned just right with no surprises. A minor shout-out to ZARD’s attention to detail there—that bolt-hole alignment and all-metal construction give off serious “built-for-the-long-haul” vibes.

Aesthetically, the Avio finish shines—literally. My pipes gleam with a polished, high-tech sheen, and yet they carry a subtle industrial edge that complements the ST’s muscular build. Whether parked or revving, heads turn.

Is it perfect? Not quite. If you’re someone who likes whisper‐quiet cruising or stealthy whispers, these pipes might draw more attention than you'd expect. Also, while the sound is deep and harmonious, it's not as aggressive as some two‐into‐one setups; this is a more nuanced roar.

In short, the ZARD Avio Slip-Ons elevate the Low Rider ST into a more expressive, charismatic beast. They’re not just exhausts—they’re your bike’s voice. Elegant, assertive, and undeniably ZARD, in the best way possible.

I recently installed theZARDand it has completely transformed the ride both in sound and performance

Build & Installation:
The craftsmanship is immediately noticeable. These slip-ons are crafted from durable AISI 304 stainless steel, with a clean conical design, visible MIG welds, and finely hand-welded flanges on the end cap. The finish options—polished stainless or matte black Cerakote®—left my bike looking sharper than ever I opted for the matte black version, and the contrast against my dark paint job is stunning.

Installation was remarkably smooth—snapped on in under an hour with minimal tools. Fitment felt seamless, like these were tailor-made for the Low Rider ST.

Performance & Feel:
There’s a noticeable drop in weight—around 3.8 kg lighter for the Euro 4/5 homologated version—making the bike feel more agile The throttle response is crisper, and the acceleration feels a bit more eager, especially in the mid-range. No dyno charts here, but the bike just feels more alive.

Sound Quality:
Now, the best part: the sound. It delivers that classic Harley rumble with a deep, throaty growl that's assertive yet refined—not obnoxiously loud, but rich in tone. It turns heads at stoplights without screaming. Exactly the vibe I wanted.

Craft Meets Harley Roar — A Transformative Slip-On Experience

I’ve been riding a 2021 Low Rider ST for a couple of years now, and I’ll be honest—nothing electrified my commute quite like swapping in the ZARD Slip-Ons “Avio.” From the second I started the bike, that unmistakable rumble made me grin.

Design & Build Quality

Unveiling them, I was immediately struck by the premium feel: AISI 304 stainless steel crafts the body, while the end cap echoes that same refined material work. The conical shape, visible MIG welds, and hand-welded flanges shout high-end Italian craftsmanship—no doubt, these are built to be seen and heard
Performance Uplift

I opted for the homologated (Euro 4/5) version with dB killers, and the gain in performance is real—about +1 hp over the stock slip-ons and a slimming of nearly 3.8 kg The result? A noticeably sharper throttle response that’s especially thrilling when accelerating onto open roads.

Sound & Ride Feel

With the dB killers in place, the acoustics are absolutely balanced—deep and assertive without crossing into obnoxious territory. It’s that perfect growl: noticeable, respectful to your neighbors, yet commanding attention on every corner. The added response from the weight drop makes the ride feel more alive, especially when carving turns.

Installation & Everyday Use

The slip-ons are a bolt-on affair—no complex tuning or aftermarket mods needed. I mounted mine on a Saturday morning and was tearing through mountain roads by the afternoon. They feel like a performance upgrade every day, not just on those rare thrill rides.

Sleek, Powerful, and Impossibly Italian—An Upgrade Worth Every Euro

As a devoted Harley rider, I’m always chasing that perfect blend of style and performance, and I can honestly say the ZARD Slip-Ons "Avio" for my 2019 Low Rider ST have exceeded every expectation.

Craftsmanship & Aesthetic:
From the moment I unboxed them, the quality stood out—these aren’t your average off-the-rack mufflers. The sleek black finish and Italian design give my bike a stealthy, custom flair that turns heads everywhere I park. You can practically feel the passion behind their handmade construction.

Performance & Sound:
Installing them was a breeze—bolt-on simplicity that didn’t require any special tools or expert help. Once on, the difference was immediate. The sound is rich, deep, and growls with authority without ever becoming obnoxious. It’s that perfect rumble: audible, respectful of noise laws, but unmistakably commanding.

Riding Experience:
Whether I’m cruising city streets or carving mountain curves, the response feels crisper, and acceleration is noticeably sharper. It’s subtle enough to let the stock character shine but definitely livens up every ride. Fellow riders frequently compliment both the look and the bark.
