The Straightline Performance Super Performance 16″ Ice Scratcher is engineered for riders who demand maximum cooling performance and uncompromising durability. Designed specifically for A-arm, bulkhead, and ski mounting, this long-version scratcher throws snow and ice farther into the heat exchanger area, dramatically improving cooling performance during low-snow, hard-packed, or icy riding conditions.

Unlike conventional spring-wire scratchers that wear out or eventually fail, the Straightline Performance Super Performance Ice Scratcher is built using full stainless steel wire rope and stainless steel end fittings, providing exceptional durability and virtually a lifetime of service.

At the heart of the system is the only production replaceable carbide scratcher tip designed exclusively by Woody’s®. The hardened carbide tip is engineered to withstand thousands of miles of riding while aggressively scratching ice and hard-packed snow to produce a continuous stream of cooling material for your heat exchangers and hyfax.

The precision-machined adjustable tip assembly allows you to fine-tune the scratching angle for optimum performance. As the carbide eventually wears after years of use, the tip can simply be replaced, eliminating the need to purchase an entirely new scratcher.

The 16-inch design (Part #185-102) is optimized for A-arm mounting, where it delivers maximum cooling efficiency by directing snow farther under the sled. It is also highly recommended for rail-mounted applications on mountain sleds equipped with tracks longer than 150 inches, where additional reach provides superior cooling compared to shorter rail-mounted scratchers.

Designed to be run in the down position at all times, these scratchers continually cool the sled while riding. When conditions require, they can also be mounted up and out of the way.

Important Note

The replaceable carbide tip is a normal wear item. Depending on riding conditions, it may eventually wear or become damaged after thousands of miles of use. Replacement carbide tips are sold separately, allowing you to maintain peak performance without replacing the complete scratcher assembly.
