The Straightline Performance Super Performance Ice Scratchers are the most advanced and durable ice scratchers available for today’s snowmobiles. Engineered for riders who demand maximum cooling performance and long-term reliability, these are the only true performance ice scratchers that utilize a production replaceable carbide tip designed exclusively by Woody’s®.

Unlike conventional spring-wire scratchers that wear out, bend, or eventually break, the Straightline Performance Super Performance Ice Scratchers are built using full stainless steel wire rope and stainless steel ends, creating an extremely durable design that is built to last a lifetime.

Designed to be run in the down position at all times, these scratchers continuously throw snow and ice onto the heat exchangers and hyfax, helping keep your sled cool during low-snow conditions, icy trails, frozen lakes, and hard-packed terrain. When conditions require, they can also be conveniently mounted up and out of the way.

One of the biggest advantages is the fully adjustable carbide tip assembly, allowing riders to precisely set the scratching angle for maximum cooling performance. The replaceable hardened carbide tip is built to last for thousands of miles while maintaining exceptional wear resistance. Since the carbide tip is the only wear item, replacement is quick, easy, and inexpensive compared to replacing an entire scratcher.

The oversized mounting base helps distribute loads across the rail, reducing wear while providing an extremely secure mounting system.

Two sizes are available to fit virtually every riding application.

The Short Version (185-101S) is specifically engineered for rear suspension rail mounting on snowmobiles with tracks under 140 inches.

The Long Version (185-102) is designed primarily for A-arm, bulkhead, or ski mounting, providing exceptional cooling performance by throwing snow directly toward the heat exchangers. It is also highly recommended for rail-mounted installations on mountain sleds equipped with tracks over 150 inches, where additional reach provides significantly improved cooling.

Important Note

The carbide tips are considered a normal wear item. Depending on riding conditions, they may eventually wear down or become damaged after thousands of miles of use. Replacement carbide tips are available separately, allowing you to service the scratchers without replacing the entire assembly.
