Overall I was very impressed with these Tusk crash bars!
The finish is super clean and stylish. Good looking welds.

The fit and install was perfect and as expected. And the instructions were fairly straightforward.
Once installed they seem super solid on my KLR. Hopefully I wont be testing them out soon, but inevitably it will happen some day. I feel more safe and confident riding with these installed.

The installation was a lot easier than the Happy Trails bars that it replaced and it is a better design. The first day I went offroad with these bars, I high sided at about 20MPH in rocky terrain. The throttle side bars absorbed most the impact and were not bent at all. For comparison, my Happy Trails bars were bent during a 15MPH lowside in gravel. I also dropped it on the same side dabbing down the concrete steps on my porch. No issues after that drop either.

I am very happy with the Tusk Crash Bars and will definitely buy them again if I end up destroying my current ones.

Fitment was easy. All the hardware was right. Worked with my aluminum skid plate. I have a subframe bolt upgrade, so I had to make a 3/8" x 175 mm grade 5 bolt to go right through. The angles of the tubing suggest they would really resist bending, finish is great! The attachment points really make sense. It covers my radiator and fairing beautifully. I would definitely recommend this guard.

Pretty easy install if used with Ricochet skid plate. You will have to remove the factory skid plate upper mounting brackets.

Easy to fit. Hope I never have to test how tough they are
