Great bags for a great price.

Put them on my F800GS with Dirt Racks. Just got them and haven’t abused them yet so I won’t rate durability. They look great. High quality materials and seems like good stitching. They’re pretty easy to go on once you do it once or twice. The only thing I’m not sure about is that they are a bit hard to attach empty, too much strap since the strap that compresses them is the same that attaches them to the racks. So grocery trips are awkward the way there.

    Tusk soft bags

Good quality, tough material, lots of straps. Mounted fairly easy but takes a minute to take off. I bought a second mounting plate for my hard bags.

Great. The best in 20 years.

    Great! Just great!
Fits perfectly in any rack. Tested with hevy load and performed great.

The best soft bag I ever had in 20 years.

I also recommend the bottle holders.

I recommend RM to add better installation instructions. No big deal but the customer deserves it. It's just a printed 8 1/2 x 11 page.

    Solid bags worth the dosh!!

Put these on the Tusk pannier racks without the quick release plates (they rattle way too much) and they are rock solid on my CRF250L Rally. Not to wide but big enough to swallow all my gear for an extended weekend trip. Once cinched down properly they do not move and do not need constant adjustments. I also have a set of Mosko Reckless 80?s that I have used on this bike and the Pilot bags and Tusk racks carry the load much better and do not destroy your side panels. Very pleased with the Pilot bags thus far. Hope they hope up long term.

    My luggage matches my bike

I'm giving these a 5 star so far. I like the size of these bags. They seem to be a good mix of good fit, enough cargo to carry what you need, and I like the color.
I didn't want bags that would look like I strapped bean bag chairs on the sides and the Marine in me hates bags that sag so hard they look like granny forgot her bra again.
If these bags are empty or have a few items in them, they snug tight with the straps and I haven't had to reinforce it with bungee cords yet. That's a huge plus for me with Wyoming winds.
When I received these bags, it looked like someone with a KLR had already preped the setup so I didn't have to do most of the initial strap instal. Whoever did that, thank you very much...it was a huge help and time saver.
These bags will get a major workout this summer on and off road so time will tell how they hold up. So far I'm happy with my purchase.
