Vandemon has designed a variable sound exhaust system in response to increasingly strict global regulations and heightened public criticism. This system enables the rider to switch between street mode, which matches the stock exhaust's quietness, and full-blown race mode for maximum power and sound, with just the press of a button. In the attached sound clip, you can hear the exhaust transitioning from race mode to quiet Stealth mode at the 14-second mark, and then back to race mode.

This exhaust system removes the heavy OEM catalytic converter, steel muffler, and OEM steel headers, and in addition to modest performance increases also results in improved handling and acceleration due to reduced weight. The expected HP gains from this exhaust are the same as the non-Sealth full exhaust we also offer.

How Does It work?  

The exhaust system consists of two mufflers and a purpose-made titanium valve. When the valve is closed, all exhaust passes through the baffled pre-muffler, which resembles a catalytic converter but isn't one, and then exits through the final unrestricted muffler. This results in an exhaust tone as quiet as the OEM mufflers. When the valve is switched to the open position via the handlebar-mounted switch, the exhaust will exit through the final unrestricted muffler only, which has no gas flow restriction. This produces the distinctive Triumph triple sound, delivering maximum performance and audio bliss.

• When tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will customize the tune for the valve open (loud mode). The quiet mode should only be used in suburban and city areas, where the engine operates at lower speeds. The Stealth mode is restrictive and will create excessive exhaust back pressure if the engine is raced.

  The main purpose of this exhaust is to allow the rider to quieten the exhaust to avoid causing a disturbance to the general public and to be inconspicuous when necessary. Additionally, it provides the option for a louder and more powerful exhaust when riding on open roads.

Appearance:

The surface finish of the Stealth portion is complemented by a natural brushed titanium muffler and highly polished titanium headers. This design offers stunning looks that resist staining and corrosion and don't require polishing. Titanium has high resistance to acid and salt, and it dissipates heat twice as fast as steel.
