Electronically selectable Valved Twin Muffler Catback Exhaust System for the S-550 Ford Mustang 2.3L Turbo, which is guaranteed to increase HP and Torque throughout the entire RPM range for doing nothing more than replacing your OEM system.

The Vandemon Valved Exhausts provide the best of both worlds. The driver can choose from two exhaust tones and performance levels via two twin-stage mufflers with a straight-through unrestricted side as well as a partially baffled side that make for a modest improvement in sound & power when exhaust valves are shut, in quiet over the OEM exhaust, or you can choose straight through for zero restriction and maximum power and torque by removing all resistance, which significantly increases turbocharger response in the lower RPM range along with an unmistakable sound that only Vandemon Exhausts offer and without any drone through the vehicle in either the quiet or free flow mode.

Vandemon valved exhausts provide a 100% muffler by-pass and an unmistakable sound that is not intrusive or annoying in straight-through loud or quieter mode.

Two purpose-made weatherproof electronic servos made by BMW rotate stainless steel butterfly valves that won't seize over time that direct gas flow through or around each muffler. Each motor is isolated from heat transference and not integrated into the muffler as found on other brands, resulting in high servo motor failure rates. Also, each servo motor has a custom wiring loom, which clips into each motor via watertight connections and is routed into the boot and connected to the supplied receiver/ control module powered by a 12v lighter socket or can be hard-wired. The receiver is activated by a push-button remote control you can hang from your key ring or mount in a convenient location.

MATERIAL

The exhaust system is made from high-quality polished 304 stainless steel, which consists of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is resistant to oxidation corrosion and won't stress fracture with age.

Perfect fit. No bending, drilling, cutting, or re-welding is needed to make it fit!

The total exhaust fit-up time is only 30 minutes, with an additional 45 minutes for the cabling and mounting of the control module receiver.

This will not fit the convertible model unless the underbody brace is removed prior to installation.
