UpMap Suite

  • UpMap T800+ Device
  • Diagnostic Cable
  • UpMap App
  • Optimized Mapping

The UpMap T800+ control unit for Triumph® Speed Triple 1200, developed in collaboration between Zard and UpMap, allows to optimize the motorcycle’s performance in E5 configuration. Thanks to ECU remapping, UpMap ensures smooth operation and prevents the activation of the "CAT" warning light, which can be triggered due to emission regulations and the replacement of the OEM exhaust system. If the warning light activates, it indicates a catalytic converter anomaly, without compromising the motorcycle’s performance.

The UpMap Suite, consisting of the T800+ device, the diagnostic cable, and the UpMap application to access optimized mappings for Triumph® Speed Triple 1200, enhances performance and riding experience.

The motorcycle’s ECU can be easily reconfigured, independently, and safely: the T800+ device connects via the diagnostic cable and allows you to upload maps developed and tested by UpMap experts.

The UpMap system is available exclusively in combination with a Zard exhaust or de-catalyst for Triumph® Speed Triple 1200.

Sharper Throttle, Cleaner Ride — A Revelatory Upgrade

I recently installed the ZARD UpMap Suite (including the T800+ controller, diagnostic cable, and mobile app) on my 2023 Triumph Speed Triple 1200, and the upgrade has noticeably elevated my riding experience. From the first ignition, throttle response felt smoother, and acceleration more refined—especially welcome through the winding roads just outside Quito.

The installation was refreshingly straightforward. The UpMap T800+ device connected seamlessly via the diagnostic cable, and the instructions were crystal clear. If you pair this with a compatible ZARD exhaust or de-catalyst (a requirement per the product specs) the ECU remapping process is intuitive—even for home mechanics. I had it up and running in under an hour, no surprises or trips to the shop.

In terms of performance, it’s a clear upgrade. The bike pulls stronger through mid‑range, and throttle transitions feel buttery smooth. Plus, the mapping is tuned for E5 fuel, and it prevents the dreaded “CAT” warning light that's sometimes triggered by emission mismatches —so I can ride with full confidence and no distractions.
Moreover, I’ve noticed a subtle but meaningful improvement in throttle feel during casual cruising—as if the bike is more alive, more dialed in. Whether carving corners or exploring the Andes foothills, the Speed Triple now feels more articulate and well-mannered, with a confident edge tucked beneath the power.

Bottom line: If your Triumph Speed Triple 1200 (2021–2023) already rocks a ZARD exhaust or de-catalyst, this UpMap ECU tune is the perfect way to tame exhaust-induced quirks and unlock a smoother, smarter performance. It’s a solid, hassle-free enhancement that genuinely elevates the ride.

Unleashed Performance—My Speed Triple Reborn

I just wrapped up installing the ZARD ECU Upmap on my 2023 Triumph Speed Triple 1200, and let me tell you—the experience is transformative. The moment I hit the ignition, the bike felt sharper, more responsive, and ready to spring to life.

Installation was a breeze—even for someone with limited technical know-how. The Upmap kit was intuitively packaged, the pin connectors snapped in place securely, and the included guide was clear and straightforward. I had it fully installed in under an hour right in my garage.

What truly impresses is the power delivery. The throttle response is blisteringly smooth yet assertive—there’s now a beautifully linear surge right from low revs all the way to the top end. Pulling out of corners or weaving through traffic feels effortless, yet you can instantly call on that extra mid-range grunt when you need it.

On the road, the difference is unmistakable: better acceleration, more confident overtakes, and a generally livelier ride. Surprisingly, I’ve also noticed a subtle uptick in fuel efficiency during relaxed cruising—not enough to write home about, but appreciable on longer rides.

If your Speed Triple 1200 is craving a bit more personality—more edge, more agility, more "oomph"—this ECU tune is absolutely worth it. It elevates the character of the bike without compromising its everyday usability.

Thrilling Power and Precision: A Game-Changer for My Speed Triple

I recently installed the ZARD ECU Upmap on my 2022 Triumph Speed Triple 1200, and the transformation is nothing short of electrifying. Right from the first twist of the throttle, the response was crisp, commanding, and exhilarating—especially when navigating the sweeping curves of the Andes foothills here near Quito, Ecuador.

The installation process was remarkably smooth. The upgrade kit fit flawlessly, and the instructions were straightforward and precise. Within less than an hour, I was ready to roll, no special tools or trips to the mechanic needed.

But it’s the performance that truly stands out: the mid-range surge is substantial—power delivery feels more robust yet refined, giving me confidence on both open roads and technical sections. Plus, I’ve noticed a subtle improvement in fuel economy—not massive, but enough to appreciate during long rides.

The added polish this upgrade brings to my bike’s character is remarkable. It has a more aggressive edge when I push it, yet remains entirely civilized in town. Riding it now, I feel like I’m experiencing the Speed Triple exactly as Triumph intended, dialed up to a perfect pitch.

All told, if you own a 2021–2023 Speed Triple 1200 and want an upgrade that delivers real, noticeable performance gains with minimal fuss—this ECU tune is absolutely worth it.

Ride safe and enjoy the thrill!
