The “Short” full kit for the Triumph Scrambler 900, completely handmade in Italy, consists of a header and silencer made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with a sleeve and end cap also in stainless steel. It is available in a satin or Cerakote® black finish.

The entire system stands out for its increased power, lightness, durability, and a deep sound that embodies the true essence of the Scrambler. With an overall weight of just 3.9 kg (8.6 lbs), the kit allows a weight reduction of -7.7 kg (-17 lbs) compared to the original system, significantly improving the bike’s handling and agility.

The impactful design enhances the motorcycle’s classic lines. This product is available in both Euro 2 approved and racing versions.

NOTE: the ‘black ceramic coating’ option includes both black heat shields and the mesh in both black and silver versions.

I recently fitted the ZARD "Short" Full Kit Carburetor Exhaust on my 2005 Triumph Scrambler 900, and it’s completely changed the bike’s personality—in all the best ways. If you're going for a more aggressive, minimalist scrambler setup, this is the exhaust to get.

The short, low-slung design gives the bike a stripped-down, custom look that’s both vintage and modern at the same time. It shaves off weight and visually tightens up the rear half of the bike without compromising that classic scrambler charm.

The sound is punchy and raw, with a sharper, throatier bark than the stock system. It roars when you twist the throttle but settles into a deep, clean tone at idle. Exactly the kind of character you want from a carbureted twin.

Performance noticeably improved after a proper rejet. The bike breathes better, throttle response is snappier, and it feels quicker off the line. Plus, it runs cooler and smoother overall—bonus points for functionality and looks.

Install was straightforward, especially if you're comfortable working with carbs. The fit was precise and the quality of the materials and welds is excellent—as you’d expect from ZARD.

For anyone riding a 2001–2007 Scrambler who wants more bite, more bark, and a lot more attitude, the ZARD "Short" kit delivers in spades.
