The "Slim" Slip-Ons by Zard for the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber/Roamer are entirely designed and handcrafted in Italy, with great attention to detail, build quality, and performance. The structure is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, featuring a choice of end caps in either stainless steel or bronzed, and silencers available in satin or black finish.

Available in both the racing and Euro 4 homologated versions, they deliver a deep and engaging sound to the V9, emphasizing the bike’s custom and bold style. Installation is plug-&-play and requires no modifications to the original system.

The kit includes two silencers with a total weight of 4.6 kg (10.1 lbs), ensuring a weight saving of −3.8 kg (−8.4 lbs) for a lighter and more responsive riding experience. The exhaust improves torque delivery and provides greater liveliness across all rev ranges.

A Fantastic Upgrade for the V9 Roamer

I recently installed the ZARD "Slim" Slip-Ons on my 2018 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The fitment was flawless, and the exhaust looks sleek and refined on the bike. The slim design adds a touch of elegance while enhancing the bike's already striking aesthetic. It perfectly complements the V9 Roamer's classic style.

The sound is where this exhaust really shines. The stock exhaust was decent, but the ZARD "Slim" Slip-Ons bring the V9 Roamer to life. At idle, it has a smooth, deep rumble, and as you accelerate, it opens up into a crisp, full-bodied growl that is both powerful and refined. It’s louder than stock, but not overwhelmingly so — it’s just the right amount of sound to elevate the riding experience without being too intrusive.

Performance-wise, I noticed a significant improvement. The throttle response is quicker, and the bike feels more agile, especially in the mid-range. It feels like the engine is breathing easier, and there’s more power on tap. The overall ride is smoother and more engaging, making it even more fun to ride.

Installation was straightforward and took no more than 30 minutes. I didn’t need to remap the ECU, and the bike runs as smoothly as before, but with noticeable improvements in sound and performance.
