The Sound This Bike Deserves

After installing the ZARD "Conical" slip-ons on my 2012 Bonneville T100 SE, I can confidently say these should’ve been standard from the factory. The build quality is top-notch — the brushed finish and tapered design give the bike a classic, purposeful look that stands out without screaming for attention.

But let’s talk sound: absolutely perfect. It’s deep, throaty, and has that rich British twin bark without being overbearing. At idle, it purrs with authority, and under throttle, it comes alive with a satisfying growl. Not too loud, not too tame — just right for both city and highway riding.

Installation was a breeze. Everything lined up perfectly with the stock headers, and I didn’t need to make any adjustments or add remapping. I noticed a slight improvement in throttle response too, which was a nice bonus.

If you’re looking to enhance your Bonneville’s character without sacrificing rideability or style, these ZARD slip-ons are a no-brainer.
