I recently installed the ZARD Rear Exhaust Conversion Kit for OEM Catalyzer on my 2018 Triumph Bonneville T120, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the upgrade. This kit gave my T120 a cleaner, more modern edge while maintaining its classic charm.

The rear exhaust layout totally transforms the look of the bike. It gives the back end a much sleeker, more minimalist profile that stands out from the typical Bonneville crowd. The craftsmanship is excellent—precision welds, high-quality materials, and a factory-like fit.

I chose the version that works with the OEM catalyzer because I wanted to keep the bike emissions-compliant while still gaining that signature ZARD tone—and it delivers. The sound is noticeably richer and deeper than stock, with a smooth, mellow growl that gives the 1200 twin a more expressive voice without being too loud.

Performance has also seen a bump. Throttle response feels sharper, and the engine breathes more freely, even without an ECU remap. I imagine a tune would enhance things further, but it already feels more responsive and fun to ride.

Installation was straightforward. Everything fit perfectly, and the instructions were clear. It’s a well-thought-out kit that adds both form and function.

If you want to give your Bonneville T120 a unique, refined look and sound—without removing the catalyzer—this ZARD rear conversion kit is a brilliant choice. It’s subtle, stylish, and absolutely satisfying.
