Swapping in the ZARD Decat on my 2018 Triumph Thruxton R 1200 was a game-changer. I was looking to unlock a bit more character from the bike, and this decat pipe did exactly that—and then some.

The sound is incredible. It’s deeper, throatier, and has a raw, vintage edge that really suits the Thruxton’s cafe racer vibe. Paired with my aftermarket mufflers, it brought the bike to life in a way the stock setup never could. The weight savings are also noticeable, and it cleaned up the underside of the bike nicely.

Throttle response improved immediately—smoother acceleration and a bit more grunt in the mid-range. You’ll want to pair it with a remap to get the full benefit, but even without one, the difference is obvious.

If you want your Thruxton R to sound and perform like it always should have, this ZARD Decat is a must. It delivers the growl and punch the bike deserves.
