I recently installed the ZARD “Conical Low Mount” Full Kit Injection Exhaust on my 2013 Triumph Thruxton 900—and wow, what an upgrade. From the moment it arrived, the attention to detail was evident: this kit is entirely handcrafted in Italy, using top-tier AISI 304 stainless steel for the headers, silencer, and end cap—exactly as described by Officine Zard
Weighing in at just 5.5 kg (12.1 lbs), this exhaust shaves a significant 3.8 kg (8.4 lbs) off the stock system’s 9.3 kg—translating into a noticeably lighter and more agile ride
Riding with it installed was a revelation. The low-mount conical layout enhances the bike's café racer lines—giving it a sleeker front profile that still retains that vintage appeal. The finish options—satin or black—allowed me to choose a look that matched my style, and the satin finish I picked looks modern without overshadowing the Thruxton’s characte
Performance-wise, it's subtle but impactful. The bike feels lighter through corners and sharper at lower revs. The sound is the real star—deep and resonant at idle, blossoming into a rich, refined growl when you open up the throttle. It’s assertive enough to be heard, but never intrusive
Installation was incredibly simple—everything lined up perfectly, no need for modifications. I did follow up with a mild ECU tune, and that unlocked even smoother throttle response and a modest bump in mid-range power.
In short, the ZARD “Conical Low Mount” kit delivers on artistry, function, and form. It not only sharpens the bike’s personality—it genuinely improves rideability and aesthetics. If you're after an all-in-one upgrade that blends substance with style, this kit is a rare win.
I finally took the plunge and installed the ZARD "Conical Low Mount" Full Kit Injection Exhaust on my 2014 Triumph Thruxton 900—and wow, what a difference. Visually, the sleek low-mount silhouette feels like it was tailor-made to harmonize with the Thruxton’s café racer elegance. The satin-black finish I chose gives the bike a striking modern edge while still honoring its vintage roots.
The craftsmanship is immediately noticeable. Constructed from high-quality AISI 304 stainless steel—headers, silencer, and end cap all included—it has that unmistakable precision and premium feel you'd expect from something handmade in Italy
But it’s not just about looks. This system shaves off a solid 3.8 kg (about 8.4 lbs) compared to the stock exhaust (going from roughly 9.3 kg down to 5.5 kg) Once on the road, the Thruxton feels noticeably more lively and agile—especially during low-speed maneuvers or weaving through tight corners.
The soundtrack is pure satisfaction: deep and resonant at idle, blossoming into a refined, assertive growl as the revs climb—not obnoxious, just that perfect balanced tone that turns heads without rattling eardrums.
Installation was a breeze—everything fit perfectly with no need for modifications After I followed up with a mild ECU remap, the throttle response tightened-up and the mid-range got a lovely extra punch.
In short: this ZARD kit doesn’t just look incredible—it elevates the Thruxton’s performance, sound, and handling in tangible ways. If you want to sharpen your ride’s personality and feel, this is a rare upgrade that delivers on every front.
I finally installed the ZARD “Conical Low Mount” Full Kit Injection Exhaust on my 2012 Triumph Thruxton 900—and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. From its sleek, retro-styled silhouette to the unmistakable growl, this kit elevates the bike’s character in every way.
What really stands out is the craftsmanship. The kit is handmade in Italy, constructed entirely from robust AISI 304 stainless steel—including headers and silencers—with a stainless steel end cap. It has a refined presence, whether you go for the satin or black finish
Not only does it look incredible, but the weight reduction is palpable. Shedding roughly 3.8 kg (–8.4 lbs) compared to the factory system, the Thruxton now feels noticeably lighter through corners and more responsive under throttle
The sound is superb—deep and authoritative at idle, then opening up into a rich, refined growl when you rev. It's assertive, but never obnoxious.
Installation was a breeze. Everything lined up perfectly, no mods needed. Once fitted, I paired it with a quick ECU tweak to maximize performance—resulting in smoother throttle response and a crisp mid-range punch.
In short, the ZARD kit enriches the Thruxton’s vintage soul with modern performance. If you're after style, substance, and sound, this exhaust is a rare trifecta.
I recently upgraded my 2009 Triumph Thruxton 900 with the ZARD "Conical Low Mount" Full Kit Injection Exhaust, and the transformation is outstanding. This system brings a perfect mix of performance, aesthetics, and attitude.
The low-mount conical design is incredibly well-executed—sleek, retro, and subtly aggressive. It gives the Thruxton a cleaner, more purposeful look while maintaining its classic café racer heritage. The build quality is top-notch, with beautiful welds and a premium finish that feels like a true custom upgrade.
Sound-wise, it’s pure joy. Deep and resonant at idle, with a satisfying growl that grows sharper as you rev. It gives the bike a more commanding presence on the road without crossing into overly loud territory.
After pairing it with a proper ECU tune, I noticed a smoother throttle response and a slight bump in mid-range torque. The weight savings from the stock exhaust also make the bike feel a bit more nimble, especially during quick transitions and low-speed maneuvering.
Installation was straightforward and everything lined up perfectly. ZARD really nailed it with this kit—performance, looks, and tone are all spot on.
If you're looking to give your fuel-injected Thruxton 900 a refined yet aggressive edge, this "Conical Low Mount" kit is the way to go.
